Join Iroquois Marine Search and Rescue
The IMSAR team consists solely of a group of highly committed volunteers.
*Key Requirements**
All members must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
A valid Pleasure Craft Operators License (PCOC)* is necessary.
A Radio Operators Certificate Maritime (ROC-M)* is also required within 6 months of joining.
Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of Galop Canal Marina, Iroquois.
A strong sense of community spirit and a commitment to safety are essential. There is an expectation to attend community events as an IMSAR representative.
These certifications may be obtained after applying for membership but are mandatory for participation.
